On September 9, CaoCao Mobility announced the official launch of its AI ride-hailing service jointly developed with Doubao in Beijing, Hangzhou, and Suzhou. This service further connects the mobility platform with AI Agents, enabling users to obtain travel routes, local lifestyle information, and directly receive corresponding travel plans with seamless follow-up service connections within Doubao. For the Robotaxi Commercialization Platform, the integration of AI into actual travel fulfillment—moving beyond mere information interaction—provides a new entry point for autonomous driving services to access more user scenarios in the future.

This collaboration first transforms the connection between users and mobility services. When users inquire about destinations, dining, or leisure activities within Doubao, the system can generate travel plans based on specific locations, eliminating the need for users to switch repeatedly between information retrieval, route planning, and vehicle selection. From information querying and itinerary planning to travel fulfillment, each link is connected within a unified interactive flow, shifting mobility services from “active search” to demand-based intelligent matching.

Service matching further extends to specific ride-hailing needs. Based on user requests such as ample space or pre-trip ventilation, Doubao AI ride-hailing can match corresponding vehicle models, including premium cars and intelligent “Da Bai” vehicles. Meanwhile, CaoCao Mobility has piloted accessible services in parts of Suzhou and Hangzhou. When the system identifies user mentions of wheelchairs or mobility difficulties in conversations, it can recommend appropriate accessible service options. For mobility platforms, AI’s role extends beyond providing information to actively participating in the matching of vehicles and service resources.

Intelligent vehicle control establishes a more direct connection between AI and vehicles. Leveraging the intelligent vehicle control capabilities of CaoCao Mobility’s purpose-built vehicles, users can preset preferences—such as travel routes, air conditioning temperature, ventilation modes, and music styles—directly within the Doubao chat interface, allowing vehicles to prepare accordingly before pickup. The system can also record user preferences for future services, extending AI interaction from mobile devices to the actual vehicle.

Behind this evolution lies CaoCao Mobility’s continuous expansion of AI applications across the mobility service chain. The company has already integrated AI technology into core operations, including intelligent dispatching, operational management, and safety risk control, while supporting the connection between AI agents and intelligent transport resources. The AI ride-hailing service launched on September 9 further extends these capabilities to the user interaction end, enabling AI Agents to achieve more direct synergy with actual vehicles and mobility services.

In terms of platform foundation, as of June 30, 2026, CaoCao Mobility’s service network covered 215 cities across China, with over 1.9 billion travel services completed cumulatively; during the same period, the company had deployed 140 second-generation Robotaxis. Its comprehensive urban service network, vehicle management, and platform dispatching capabilities provide an operational foundation for extending AI mobility services to more scenarios, while also leaving room for future integration of Robotaxi services with AI entry points.

Regarding Robotaxi vehicle products, CaoCao Mobility continues to advance the development of Eva Cab. As China’s first natively developed purpose-built Robotaxi, the model adopts a no-front-passenger-seat, steering-wheel-free design and is engineered via forward development for autonomous driving operational scenarios, with mass production expected in 2027. Under current plans, the company aims to cumulatively deploy 100,000 Robotaxis by 2030 and build Green Intelligent Mobility Hubs to provide energy replenishment, cleaning, preparation, and intelligent dispatching for related vehicles.

In overseas markets, CaoCao Mobility has been collaborating with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) since 2026 and is advancing cooperation with K2 Group and May Mobility to explore robotaxi commercialization deployment and operations in the Middle East and European markets. The simultaneous exploration of domestic AI mobility services and overseas Robotaxi businesses further expands the application boundaries of the platform’s capabilities.

The AI ride-hailing service launched on September 9 demonstrates CaoCao Mobility’s efforts to position AI as an intelligent entry point connecting users, vehicles, and mobility services. As AI interaction, vehicle control, platform dispatching, and Robotaxi products continue to integrate, the connotation of the Robotaxi Commercialization Platform will extend beyond mere autonomous vehicle operations to encompass user reach and intelligent services. The launch of AI ride-hailing in three cities provides a new practical application scenario for this direction.
